Natalie Mana: Raleigh, NC
Hello there! My name is Natalie Mana and I am just a few months away from starting my senior year at North Carolina State University right here in Raleigh, North Carolina. I will be graduating in May with a degree in Public Relations and Organizational Communication. Outside of the classroom, I am a volunteer Young Life leader and work with students at a local middle school. In my free time I enjoy writing, taking photos, baking, and listening to NPR.
During my internship at Blast this summer, I hope to dive-in and challenge myself. I am eager to expand my knowledge of the PR industry in an agency setting and learn more about the way Blast serves and builds relationships with their clients. I am excited to continue working on press lists, quarterly benchmark decks and briefing sheets, and learning more about content creation and pitching. My favorite thing about interning at Blast is observing my co-workers communicate with clients to make the big stuff happen together as a team!
What an honor it is to get a front row seat of the amazing work going on here at Blast!
Miranda Einhorn: Austin, TX
Hi! I’m Miranda Einhorn. I’ll be starting my junior year at Colorado College, a beautiful liberal arts school nestled at the bottom of Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs. This year I will be continuing with my Psychology major and History minor as well as working for my school’s athletic marketing department (Go Tigers!). In my free time I love to hike, read, watch hockey and help better both our local and national community with my Kappa Kappa Gamma sisters.
I have been learning so much during my time here at Blast PR. I have gotten fantastic, hands-on experience compiling press lists, preparing briefing sheets, conducting news sweeps and doing event research. The office environment in Austin is wonderful. The upbeat and professional nature of my co-workers has made the transition into my first PR internship seamless and has set a motivating example as I learn more about client relationship management, pitching and creating press releases.
I am so grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow here at Blast. I hope the summer never ends!
Jenna Phillips: Santa Barbara, CA
Hi there! I was raised in Santa Barbara, California and am now back for summer vacation. I go to school at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and I love it! Currently, I am studying Fashion Business Management but after the Fall semester I will begin my Bachelors in International Trade and Marketing for the Fashion Industry. While i’m in the city I love to run along the Hudson River, explore new areas, visit museums (my favorite is the Natural History museum) and on the weekends, discover new adventures outside of the city. While I’m back in Santa Barbara for the summer I’ll spend time at the lake and the beach, with lots of hikes and camping in Big Sur.
Interning at Blast has been amazing! I am experiencing a whole new side of PR and marketing that really differs from fashion PR. I’ve been able to research and create event trackers, prepare briefing sheets and organize new recaps for clients. I’m excited to continue to learn more about the data driven clients Blast represents, and look forward to mastering the best way to craft a press release as my time here continues. The team here has been so inviting, helpful and inspirational. The office is right in downtown Santa Barbara and has a beautiful courtyard filled with orange trees; I couldn’t ask for a better summer internship.
I am excited to challenge myself here at Blast PR and prepare myself for what is to come after College.
