This weekend in Austin, Blast PR, Pentagram and Lewis Carnegie are doing good as they host Deeds Fest, a design, music and action based fundraiser in support of Deeds Not Words and its mission to empower the next generation of women making change.
Described as “The Woodstock of Women’s Rights,” Deeds Fest will take place on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Gallery at Lewis Carnegie.
This event will feature t-shirts created by 17 different Austin designers and printed by Industry Print Shop. The t-shirts will be for sale during the event and all proceeds will support the mission of Deeds Not Words.
There will also be live music, food and beer from local vendors during the event. This is a free, family friendly event that is open to the public to spread the mission of female empowerment.
